It is required for all presenters to prepare pre-recorded video for his/her presentation. This is for back-up purpose if live presentation cannot be done due to technical problem during the day of presentation. However, please bear in mind, the assessment for best presentation for the pre-recorded video is based on the same rubrics used for those who present live. Therefore, it is imperative to remind all the presenters, the quality of the pre-recorded video should be as good as live presentation and vice versa.
The deadline for pre-recorded video and PowerPoint submission is 20 November 2020!
Talks for presentation will be pre-recorded and submitted as video files and PowerPoint before 20 November 2020 to be replayed during the conference in case there is technical problem and live presentation cannot be done. During the actual presentation session on 8-9 December 2020, even though live presentation is in vain, one of the authors will need to be available online after their videos are played to answer Q&A from conference participants moderated by the respective Session Chairs.
The trial run for live presentation will be held on 4th December 2020. The presenters will be given the Conference programme schedule earlier and the presenters are required to participate in the trial run. The presenters will be briefed the programme flow and the use of online system.
We request you to prepare and upload a video of your presentation and PowerPoint slides, comprised of a brief introduction with webcam, if desired, followed by voice over slides for your presentation. Please note that the file must be a video file in MP4 format (more details below). Please do not try to upload PDF files.
There are several video conferencing tools available to easily record a presentation. In this method, you can show your face via webcam (if you’d like) and display your slides as you talk. You can use any meeting software for you to get a good quality recording and your final file is in the MP4 format.
